Mrs. Ann Sanders, of Enterprise, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 26, 2017.  She was 73.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 29, 2017 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Dr. Michael Mynatt officiating.  Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Goshen with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

 

Ann was born September 30, 1944, in Pike County, Alabama to the late Pugh Starling and Ruth Starling.  She loved spending time with her family, and one of her favorite places in this world was the beach.  She was a faithful member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

 

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Wendell Sanders of Enterprise; one daughter, Virginia McLeod (Brian) of Jack; two sons: Woody Sanders (Kim) of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, and Todd Sanders of Ozark; a brother, Jarel Starling (Sherry) of Huntsville; four grandchildren: Brian Beasley, Lara Lea Taylor, Heidi McLeod, and Molli McLeod; two great-grandchildren: Annslea Taylor and Noah Taylor.

 

The family thanks Kindred Hospice for their loving, compassionate care.
