ANNETTE LENEASE PITTS


NEWVILLE.…Annette Lenease Pitts, a resident of Newville, Alabama passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at a Dothan hospital, after an extended illness. She was 56.


            A Celebration of Life Service will be held 5:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 1, 2020, in the Worship Center of the First Baptist Church – Headland, with Dr. Cecil M. Sanders, Jr. and Pastor Ruth Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 5:00 P.M. Tuesday before the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is handling the arrangements.


            Ms. Pitts was born in Stuart, Florida to the late Johnnie C. Pitts and Celia C. Cureton Pitts. She lived her entire childhood in Stuart, Florida. She moved to Newville, Alabama approximately thirty-two years ago. Annette retired from HNB 1st after several years of employment. She was a loyal member of the First Baptist Church -Headland. She fought cancer like a valiant soldier. She was a friend, wonderful mother, and the best Nonna. She will be missed by so many.


            Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Rayford V. Pitts and Ronald M. Pitts.


            Leaving to cherish her memories are her sons, Floyd Stupka (Heather) of Headland, Alabama, and Heath Stupka of Newville, Alabama; her grandchildren, Lincoln Stupka and Logan Stupka; and her brother, Steve L. Pitts of Newville, Alabama; several nieces and nephews.
