Mrs. Annie Earl Grace Teipel, age 79, a resident of Dothan, died Wednesday December 19, 2018 at Southeast Health Medical Center following an extended illness.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Cottonwood City Cemetery with Reverend Joey Hudspeth officiating and Kendall Glover directing.  The family will be receiving friends at the cemetery following graveside services.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to one’s favorite charity.

Mrs. Teipel was born on September 23, 1939 in Dothan the daughter of Daniel Earl Grace and Catherine Mixon Grace.  She was a 1957 graduate of Cottonwood High School and was a member of Macedonia Christian Church in Tallassee, Alabama.  Mrs. Teipel was a homemaker and a wonderful supportive Military Wife and a Loving Mother and Grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister and her stepmother, Crona “Dutchie” Grace.

Survivors include: Husband of 55 years, Major Richard Teipel (U.S. Army Retired), Dothan; 3 daughters, Katharine Teipel, Ashford, Karen Teipel Martin (Rex), Dothan, Kelli Teipel, Tallassee; 2 brothers, James Wallace Grace (Miriam), Birmingham, Daniel Larry Grace (Cindy); Wicksburg; 4 grandchildren, Grayson Martin, Knoxville, TN; Austin Martin (Erin), Dothan; Chase Thurman, Charlotte, NC and Catherine Andress, Ewa Beach, HI; several special friends including: Ann & Jerome Varnum, Webb; Melissa McAdams, Dothan and Annie Jackson, Dothan.
