Annie Hemenes

 

Annie Hemenes age 93 of Newton, passed away Saturday, September 25,2021 at her residence surrounded by her family under the care of Kindred Hospice.   

 

A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Family First Funeral Care, visitation will be one hour prior to service. Casual attire is requested by the family for those attending the service.

 

Mrs. Hemenes was born December 15, 1927 to Fred H. Riley and Elizabeth Baldwin.  Mrs. Hemenes was a home maker and enjoyed visiting friends at the Enterprise Senior Center.  She also enjoyed spending time with her family. 

 

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings Rex Riley, Leon Riley, Lorene Walters, Willie Dell Grimes. 

 

Mrs. Hemenes is preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Hemenes, as well as a daughter, Diane Hemenes. She is survived by her daughters Brenda Moore (Billy), Starla Richardson (Johnny), Sharon Foster; son Eric Hemenes; grandchildren Tina Pouncey, Kristy Bostick (Jamie), J D Richardson, Justin Foster, Kaylen Shoupe (Patton); Ean Hemenes; great grandchildren Chase Blessman, Elizabeth Williams, Chris Davis, Tyler Howell, Jacob Richardson, Seth Richardson, Porter Shoupe; great-great grandchildren Quinn Blessman, Haylee Davis along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
