Annie Lee Ladd

 

Annie Lee Ladd, a resident of DeLand, Florida and a former resident of Dothan, died  Tuesday, June 5, 2012  in Deland at the age of 107. She was born January 29, 1905 in Dothan, Alabama.

 

Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Dothan City Cemetery with Rev. Mike Golson officiating and Byrd Funeral Home on West Main Street directing. The family will receive friends following the graveside services.

 

Having lived over a century, Mrs. Ladd was quoted as saying “The best things in life were improvements in comfort and ease of living, noting that television, radio, labor-saving devices and rapid transportation had all made her life better over the years.”  

 

Mrs. Ladd is survived by several nieces and nephews.

 

She is predeceased by her husband, Robert L. Ladd who died in 1997.
