            Mrs. Annie Merle Forehand of Bellwood, AL passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012 at the home of her daughter in Bellwood, AL.  She was 92.

            Funeral services will be at 2 pm Wednesday, February 22 at Chancellor Assembly of God with Rev. Royce Morrow and Rev. John Lolley officiating.  Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Assembly of God cemetery in Wicksburg.  The body will be placed into the church one hour prior to the service.  The family will receive friends at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise Tuesday evening from 6 until 8.

            Mrs. Forehand was born April 3, 1919 in Dale County, AL to the late William Jesse and Vermell Lee Odom.  She attended Chancellor Assembly of God.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Algus Forehand, a daughter, Evelyn Smith, great-grandchild, Preston Smith, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

            Survivors include 5 children: Betty Wood (Franklin), Malvern, AL, Edward Forehand (Ann), Dothan, AL, Angelyn Bass (Jimmy), Bellwood, AL, Ronnie E. Forehand (Jean), Wicksburg, AL, William Forehand (Sandra), Enterprise, AL; 15 grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren; 1 sister, Maxine Cason, Cottonwood, AL; 2 brothers: William Edward Odom, Lynn Haven, FL, Bill Odom, Melbourne, FL; several nieces and nephews.
