Obituary:  Ruth Mahoney

 

            Annie Ruth Mahoney of Chancellor, AL passed away Saturday January 21, 2012 in Enterprise. She was 88.

 

            Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Monday, January 23, 2012 at Sorrells Funeral Home chapel in Enterprise with Reverend Steve Bruce officiating.  Burial will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery. 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday beginning at 1:30 pm and continuing until service time.

 

            Mrs. Mahoney was born March 23, 1923 in Coffee County, Al to the late James L. and Jessie Thompson Goodson.

 

In addition to her parents, her husbands Braxton Fleming and John Mahoney preceded her in death.

 

            Survivors include two brothers: Billy Jim Goodson (Verdell), Enterprise, Al, Obie Goodson (Linda), Chancellor, Al; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
