Annie Trull Burgess, 93, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Welton and Annie Paige Trull and formally of Columbus, Georgia.

Annie was retired from Muscogee County School District where she worked as a paraprofessional. She was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church where her joy came from meeting with the ladies in her Sunday School class conversing about the Lord.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 in Ft. Benning, Georgia.

Annie was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Carl Burgess; three sons, Marshall, Joe, and Roger Burgess.

Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Hatfield McDaniel of Hartford, Alabama; one son, Mike Burgess (Jolene) of Columbus, Georgia; three daughters-in-law, Ruth Burgess and Kathy Burgess both of Columbus, Georgia, and Janet Burgess of Edgefield, South Carolina; eleven grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.
