April Danielle Commander Manning of Geneva, AL passed to her Heavenly home on Saturday, June 10, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was 45.

 A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2023 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL with Rev. Dale Pettis officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until service time.

 April was born in Tallahassee FL on November 24, 1977, to Donald Earl and Judy Anne Wertz Commander. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister. April was a Godly lady who loved the Lord, her family and was a leader in women’s ministry in Faith Temple Fellowship Church. She enjoyed photography, cooking and being a mother to her beautiful children.

 April is survived by her loving husband of 23 years,  Jeffery Manning of Geneva, AL; four children,  Destiny Manning Lawler (Brent) of Troy, AL, Salem Manning, Patience Manning and Elijah Manning all of Geneva, AL; her  parents, Donald and Judy Commander of Westville, FL; three brothers, Donald,Jr. “Earl” Commander of Longmont, CO, Brian Commander (Jill) of Colorado Springs, CO and Jason Commander (Mary) of Westville, FL; father and mother-in-law, Don and Judy Manning of Geneva, AL; sister -in-law, Tonya Manning Shiver (Scott Owens) of Geneva, AL, brother- in- law, David Manning (Terri) of Daleville, AL; grandmother-in-law, Lois Bundrum of Geneva, AL, and a number of special nieces and nephews.
