Ardith Davis Moring

 

Ardith Moring age 66 of Cottonwood, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024 at Southeast Health following a brief illness.  A Graveside Service will be held Monday, April 15, 2024, 11 a.m. at Hodgesville Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Mark Bristow officiating. 

 

Ardith was born November 25, 1957 in Grand Junction, Colorado to Royal Delno Davis and Hazel Marie Collingsworth Davis.  She was a great cook and enjoyed spending time with her family.  She liked to shop and travel to the beach.  Planting flowers and watching Auburn football were also some of her favorite pastimes. 

 

She is preceded in death by father Royal Delno Davis; mother Hazel Marie Mason; step-father Billy Joe Mason.

 

Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Jeff Moring; son Steven Heath of Cottonwood; daughters Hollie Moring of Dothan, Heather Adkins (Houston) of Dothan; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers Alford Leroy Davis of Pensacola, Florida, William A. Williams (Tammy) of Birmingham, Michael B. Williams (Natalie Rhea) of Daleville, David Davis of Seattle, Washington.  Several nieces and nephews also survive. 

 

Per Ardi’s request, casual clothes are to be worn and in lieu of flowers, please plant a tree in her honor.
