Mr. Arthur Lowell Ott, age 90, a resident of Oakview Manor Health Care Center of Ozark (formerly of Dothan), died Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Dale Medical Center.

 

A graveside service will be held Friday, December 21, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Mount Pleasant Primitive Church Cemetery.   

 

Mr. Ott was born on November 25, 1922 in Houston County, AL the son of the late Harmon Thomas  and Katy Frances Champion Ott.  He lived in Houston County most of his life where he worked as a mechanic in the sewing machine industry.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary Alice Ott; two sons Raymond Ott and Randolph Ott; one daughter Jo Ann Ott; one brother James Ott and four sisters - Alice Cherry, Flossie Johnson, Annie Pearl Wilkerson and Margaret Ann Johnson.

 

He is survived by his two daughters; brother Shelby Ott, Dothan; two sisters  Eunice Maddox, Headland and Audrey McNeil of Dothan; several grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
