Obituary: Barbara Adkison Wilson

Barbara Adkison Wilson, of Enterprise, Alabama passed away Friday, June 16, 2023 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama. She was 75.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Reverend Mike Medley officiating. Burial will follow in Goodman Assembly of God Church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening June 20, 2023 from 5pm until 7pm.

Barbara was born September 15, 1947 to the late Tamar O. and Bertha L. Bloodsworth Adkison. In addition to her parents, her husband, SamWilson; three sisters; and one great-grandson, Jace Hester all preceded her in death.

Survivors include three children: Shawn Wilson of Elba, AL, Bridget Holloman of New Brockton, AL, Jennifer Wilson Myers of Enterprise, AL; five grandchildren: Brandon, Ryan, Keltzie, Brooklyn, Paitton; eight great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be as follows: Josh Senn, Ronnie McIntosh, Dale Grimes, Adam Mitchell, Luke Cooper, Josh Román.
