Mrs. Barbara Ann Underwood, age 58, of Dothan, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Flowers Hospital.

 

Born April 10, 1955 in Germany to the late Alton and Vassie Martin. Mrs. Underwood was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who loved her dog “Tippy”dearly, and was an avid Auburn football fan.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Alex Harrison.

 

Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Allen Underwood; daughter, Candace Williams (Franklin) of Cowarts, AL.; sons, Michael Harrison, Curtis Harrison, and TJ Jones; sisters, Sheila Cox of Hartford, AL, Shirley Franklin of Webb, AL, Betty Swiswaski, of Atlanta, GA; brother Wilburn Martin (Linda) of Dothan, AL.; grandchildren, Xavier Underwood, and Sebastian Harrison.

 

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 1 PM at Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Scottie Hatcher officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 4, 2014 from 6 to 8.

 

The family will be accepting flowers.
