Barbara Gayle Young, age 84, of Enterprise, AL, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 at her home.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 23, 2023 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Gary Daniel officiating and Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 P.M. until service time.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to S.O.S Animal Shelter, 25944 Highway 134, Enterprise, AL 36330.    

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Edward Young and a brother Donald Clay Carroll.   

Survivors include her daughter, Kaye Cano (Tim Maginn), Seguin, TX; two brothers, James E. Carroll (Kym), Mobile, AL; Robert C. Carroll, Enterprise, AL; two grandchildren, Chelsea McMahan, San Antonio, TX; Hunter Cano, Las Vegas, NV; two great-grandchildren, Lacey McMahan and Tristan McMahan.
