Obituary:  Barsie Nell Sasser

 

Barsie Nell Sasser of Enterprise went home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday morning, March 12, 2016 at her residence. She was 86.

 

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at the Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Enterprise with Rev. Johnny Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the Meadowlawn cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Enterprise directing.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 12:00 noon and continuing until service time.

 

Mrs. Sasser was born October 12, 1929 in Coffee County to the late J.M. and Mattie Dunn Moore. She was a member of the Park Avenue Baptist Church. Her husband, Lynwood Sasser as well as a sister Alice McWaters and a brother Haywood Moore all preceded her in death.

 

Survivors include her son, Larry Sasser, Enterprise, grandson, Adam Sasser (Aimee), Alpharetta, GA, 2 sisters: Ethel Ellis, Albany, GA, Sarah Howell, Birmingham, AL, 2 brothers: Charles Moore (Edie), Longview, TX, James Moore (Lenora), Leonard, TX, several nieces and nephews.
