 Bart Howard Ward of Samson, AL passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022. He was 55 years old.

 Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL with Rev. Jimmy Eddins and Rev. Donnie Earles officiating. Burial will follow in the Marvin Chapel Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

 Bart was born in Geneva, AL on February 10, 1967 to James H. Ward and LaVella Mock Ward-Shaw.

 Bart is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gene and Lorine Mock; paternal grandparents, Grover and Claire V. Ward; stepmother, Peggy C. Ward.

 Bart is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 28 years, Jannifer Ward of Samson, AL; one daughter, Vella Ann Ward Jenkins (Tripp) of Samson, AL; one son, Gene Mock Ward of Samson, AL; one granddaughter, Allie June Jenkins of Samson, AL; mother and stepfather, LaVella Mock Ward-Shaw (Billy) of Samson, AL; father, James H. Ward of Samson, AL; three brothers, Ted Ward (Rhonda) of Samson, AL, Tim Ward (Michelle) of Geneva, AL, and Bret Ward of Samson, AL; and several special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
