Beatrice Vann Lindsey, 93, of Dothan, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018.

Funeral services have been changed to Glover Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 28, 2018 with Rev. Woody Farrington officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends following the services. Private family burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kindred Hospice, 2740 Headland Avenue, Dothan, AL 36303.

Mrs. Lindsey was born September 21, 1925 in Dothan, Alabama to Frank and Lessie Vann and lived all of her life in Dothan. She was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Lindsey was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Emory Lindsey, a brother, Robert Vann and a son-in-law, Ronnie Skipper.

Survivors include two daughters, Terri Skipper and Kathy Underwood (Reid), all of Dothan; four grandchildren, Todd Skipper (Shannon), Jeff Skipper (Jennifer), Kim Bullard (Matt) and Scott Underwood (Amy); seven great-grandchildren, Katherine, Gant, Abby, Bryce, Samara, Reid and Anne Claire.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the nurses and CNAs on hall five at Extendicare and Ruby Merrill for the loving care given to Mrs. Lindsey.
