Becky Grace Strength of Daleville, AL passed away Thursday morning, November 30, 2023 at her home surrounded by her daughter and family.  She was 72.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Daleville Chapel with Rev. Brian Leatherwood and Pastor Bobby Marks officiating.  Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 until service time.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Strength for Life Ministries, PO Box 879, Daleville, AL 36322 or online at www.strengthforlife.co.

Becky was born and raised in Gary, Indiana on a family farm along with twelve other siblings.  She was seventeen years old when she relocated to Daleville, Alabama to originally live with one of her sisters.  Not long after relocating, she met her husband, Donnie Strength.  They were married in 1971 and had their first child, Chris, in 1973.  They went on to have two other children, Jason and Maranda.  She later went to work for the Daleville school system for around ten years to help support her family.  She ultimately stepped away to take care of her family as a wonderful homemaker.  In her mid-fifties, she attended Enterprise Junior College where she earned a degree in Medical Data Entry.  Besides enjoying her time with family and friends in many ways, she will be remembered by her hands-on creativeness and love for baking, woodworking, sewing and gardening.  She was a very special person and will be greatly, greatly missed!  But, we will see her again!

Becky was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Strength; two sons, Christopher and Jason Strength; one sister, and five brothers.

Survivors include her daughter, Maranda Leatherwood (Brian), Daleville, AL; three grandchildren, Gabrielle, Spencer and Luke; three sisters, Delphus Kleemann, Rhonda Rainwater, Nita Keeling; four brothers, Herschel Rainwater, David Rainwater, Norman Rainwater, and Timothy Rainwater; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
