Benjamin Franklin “Frankie” Stone, age 52, a resident of Dothan, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Southeast Health.


Funeral Services will be held 3:00 pm, Sunday, February 7, 2021, at Mount Enon Baptist Church with Reverend Don Tew officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Enon Baptist Church cemetery. Services will be live streamed on the Mount Enon Baptist Church Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/MEBCDothan.  


The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:45 pm prior to the service. All masking and social distancing guidelines will be observed. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to the Mount Enon Baptist Church Building Fund, 3167 Iris Road, Dothan, AL  36301.


Frankie was born June 12, 1968, in Dothan, Alabama to Clyde Weems Stone and Emma Jo Dewberry Stone. He spent his early years in the Dothan, Webb, and Columbia areas. Frankie graduated from Houston County High School in 1987. He began his career in 1988 working for Durden Outdoor Displays and was currently a sales manager. He loved to hunt and watch Alabama football. He was an active member of Mount Enon Baptist Church, where he was currently serving as a deacon.


He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Emma Jo Stone and Ira and Janet Weatherly, and a brother, Charles Stone.


Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Jill Love Stone of Dothan; daughter, Hannah Stone of Dothan; brother, Bobby Stone (Belinda) of Dothan; two sisters, Inez Armstrong of Kinsey, Joanne Roudebush of North Dakota; mother and father-in-law, Johnny and Elaine Love of Dothan; sister-in-law, Kristie Anderson (Todd) of Dothan; brother-in-law, Michael Love of Panama City Beach. FL; aunt, Marty Battle of Dothan; niece, Carol Long; two nephews, Bailey Anderson and Parker Anderson; numerous foster brothers and sisters.


Serving as active pallbearers will be Adam Booth, Gary Burch, Bill Durden, Stephen Jones, Jason Shiver, and Eddie Sorrells.
