On April 2, 2022, Ben was received in the arms of his Savior Jesus Christ and at 48 years of age found the peace the surpasses all understanding and the ultimate healing. 


He was a resident of Headland. 


A 1992 graduate of Dothan High School, Ben was a master mind at surveying, reading plans and setting grades. He was also certified in asphalt core testing. His career included 2007-2011 Lewis Incorporated 2011-2015 Wiregrass Construction 2015-2022 Lewis Incorporated.


 He loved to take things apart to see how they worked.  He enjoyed re-manufacturing things and making them into new inventions.  Ben also loved NASCAR, Alabama Football, History, loved to read National Geographic Magazines and listen to classic rock music. He is described as a good hearted, caring soul.   He was a brilliant beautiful mind and was loved and cared for more than he ever knew. 


Ben is survived by his parents Gary & Marilyn Morris, brother Tommy Morris (wife Teri) sister Erin Campbell (husband Dufton)


 


Aunts/Uncles:    Vivian M Lewis, Brenda Butterfield, Joe Brookes, Rick Brookes, Mike Brookes.


Very special friend Mary Gredzinski of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania


Nieces and nephews Scout Elizabeth Campbell, T.J. Morris, Anna Brooke Morris, and Luke Morris.  Special cousin George E Lewis II and a host of others. 


Proceeded in death by:  grandparents Carl & Margret Morris, T.J. & Pauline Brookes, and an uncle George E Lewis, Sr.


Those who loved Ben are forever grateful to the care he received at the South East Health and for the men of God who reached out and ministered to him in his last days.
