KINSEY. . .Bennie Floyd McNeill, a resident of Kinsey, died Thursday morning, February 3, 2022, in a Dothan hospital. He was 82.

       Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 5, 2022, in Gardens of Memory, between Headland & Dothan, with Reverend Sam White officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside services. Social distancing and mask guidelines will be observed.

       In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kinsey Volunteer Fire Department, c/o Donna Trippe, 948 J. W. Rich Road, Kinsey, AL 36303.

       Mr. McNeill was born and reared in the Enon Community, between Webb and Ashford, son of the late L. B. McNeill and Edith Lois “Boots” Crawford McNeill. He lived in Kinsey all his adult lifetime. Mr. McNeill owned the G & M Starter in Dothan. He was also engaged in cattle farming all his adult life. Mr. McNeill was preceded in death by his wife, Lovie Faye Yance McNeill, a daughter in law, Kim McNeill, a grandson, Brent McNeill and a brother, Emmett McNeill.

       Surviving relatives include two sons, Sid McNeill and Steven McNeill (Lisa), all of Dothan; a sister, Mary Wright (Charles), Webb, AL; six brothers, David McNeill (Alona), Havana, FL; James Arthur McNeill, Dothan; Joel McNeill (Diane), Webb,AL; Charles McNeill (Janet), Webb, AL; Michael “Frog” McNeill, Pansey; and Richard McNeill (Teresa), Dothan; two grandchildren, Maddie Claire McNeill and Tyler McNeill, two great-grandchildren, Parker McNeill and Ella McNeill; numerous nieces and nephews.
