Bennie M. Brown, age 79, of Chancellor, AL, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2020 in Medical Center Enterprise.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 7, 2020 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Stanley Key officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the funeral home.

Bennie was preceded in death by his parents, Boss and Cora Brown, sisters, Eloise Adkison, Mary Alice Baxter, Bernice Wilson, Catharine Tate, Betty Jean Burgett, brothers, Rufus Brown, Cecil Brown and Donald Brown.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Shelia Brown, Chancellor, AL; daughters, Linda Keel (Donald) Ozark, AL; Pamela Spann (Mark) Chancellor, AL; sons, Steve Brown (Toni) Chancellor, AL; David Brown, Chancellor, AL; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; his brother, Billy Charles Brown; numerous loving nieces and nephews.
