MIDLAND CITY. . .Berlene Evans Musick, a resident of Midland City, died late Tuesday night, November 30, 2021, at her home. She was 89.

   Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 5, 2021, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Benny Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the mortuary in Headland.

   Mrs. Musick was born in Friday, Texas and was reared in Holly Texas, daughter of the late Lewis Ervin Evans and Johnnie Mae Burkes Evans. Upon marriage, she moved to Crockett, Texas where she lived until 1968 when she moved to Midland City. Mrs. Musick was a member of the Midland City Baptist Church. She was retired from Kenworth of Dothan as the Business Manager after twenty years employment. Mrs. Musick enjoyed fishing and spending time at Lake Eufaula with her son, John. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Musick, Sr., three infant sisters and a brother, Marlin Evans.

   Surviving relatives include three sons, John Musick, Jr. Eufaula; Kenneth E. “Pete” Musick, Echo Community; and Michael Dale Musick (Karen), Franklin, TN; a brother, Burtis Evans, Crockett, TX; a sister-in-law, Pat Evans; four granddaughters, Morgan Musick, Courtney Musick, Kathleen Musick and Lauren Musick; a great-granddaughter, Henley Kate Lee.
