BERTHA  (BETTY)  STROZEWSKI  BAKER

HEADLAND, AL….Bertha (Betty) Strozewski Baker, a resident of Headland, formerly of Buffalo, New York, died late Monday night, December 19, 2011, at her home. She was 100.

           

Funeral services and burial will be held in Perry, New York at a later date with Eaton Watson Funeral Home, Perry, New York, directing. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of local arrangements.   

Mrs. Baker was born and reared in Buffalo, New York having lived in Lakewood, New York before moving to Headland in 2010. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lakewood. Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her husband, Clement Baker; her parents, John Strozewski and Victoria Domagalski Strozewski; and all her brothers and sisters.

           

Surviving relatives include five sons, Gerald Baker and wife, Barbara, Niagra Falls, NY; Kenneth Baker, Lakewood, NY; Rev. Ronald Baker and wife, Patricia, Headland, AL; James Baker and wife, Peggy, Perry, NY; and Gregory Baker and wife, Andrea, St. Petersburg, FL; ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
