Betty C. Enfinger, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, died Monday, May 6, 2019 following a brief illness. She was 68.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny Bynum officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 until 1:45 on Thursday prior to service time.

Flowers are being accepted or memorials may be made to the Wiregrass Humane Society,   P.O. Box 1045, Dothan, AL 36302.

Mrs. Enfinger was born December 1, 1950 in Macon, Georgia and moved to Dothan at an early age. She was retired from Ansell, Inc. Mrs. Enfinger was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was a member of South Lena Baptist Church. She was an avid reader and loved to travel.

She is preceded in death by her parents, R.W. and Verlin Woodham Christie of Dothan.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Shelley “Pejoe” Enfinger of Dothan; three children, Meichelle Adams (Robby) of Nashville, TN, Mary Alice Tyson (Chad) of Dothan; Robby Enfinger (Elizabeth) of Dothan; eight grandchildren, Claire Skipper (Wade), Madison Cochie, Lauren and Emma Tyson, Coleman, Spencer and Isabella Adams, Evelyn Enfinger; two great-grandchildren, Ava Caroline and Watson Skipper; a very special friend of 56 years, Carolyn Morris of Dothan.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Chad Tyson, Wade Skipper, Coleman Adams, Spencer Adams, Troy Calhoun, Todd Calhoun and Kevin Calhoun.
