Betty Charlene King, 77, of Hartford, Alabama passed peacefully in her sleep at home with her loved ones by her side.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, George Harold King, Sr. and daughter, Karen Inola King Hutto.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford with Rev. Ricky King officiating. Burial will follow in Hartford City Cemetery under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time.

She is survived by her daughters, Sharie King Huff (Freddie) and Laura King Daugherty (James) and one son, George Harold “Sonny” King Jr. (Tammy); Grandchildren, Michael Huff (Nancy), Devin King, Robbie Carroll (Katie), Douglas King, Daniella Hutto, Liya Worthington Daugherty; great grandchildren, London Huff, Jaida King, Jacob Ward, Vandra and Alina Carroll.

Nanny loved fishing, camping, and her animals. She never knew when to stop weed eating. She enjoyed going shopping and buying everything. She had the best laugh, was full of life, and full of sass.
