Betty Jane Mauldin of Enterprise, AL passed away at her home surrounded by the love of her family and friends. 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise.  Burial will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continue until time of service.

 

Betty was born November 4, 1946 in Midland City, AL to the late Lawson and Jimmie Lou Galloway.  She was married for 53 years to the love of her life, Herman Mauldin, until his passing in 2017. 

 

She was a loving mother to her children but also a mother figure to her siblings, in-laws and grandchildren.  She was a hard worker and enjoyed cooking large meals with Herman to share with their family and friends.

 

She is survived by her children, Gregory Mauldin (Donna), Dewayne Mauldin (Carolyn), Michael Mauldin and Michelle Mauldin Anderson (Paul); sisters, Linda Nichols, Mary Galloway and Sheila Norton; brothers, Rudolph Galloway, Paul Galloway and Timothy Galloway; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

 

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at DaySpring Hospice, Wiregrass Home Care, Jeanette Shelton, Amanda Freeman and Betty Diggs.
