Ms. Betty Jean Carroll of Enterprise, Alabama passed away Sunday, August 19, 2012.  She was 55.

 

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Tracy Hobbs officiating.  Burial will follow in the Paxton City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, August 21, from 6 until 8 p.m.

 

Ms. Carroll was born May 29, 1957, in Lakewood, Florida to the late John David Carroll and Nellie Wood Carroll Pettis.  She enjoyed dancing and also loved to fish.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and was always there to help anyone in need.

 

In addition to her parents her grandmother, Ida May Wood, as well as five brothers all preceded her in death.

 

Survivors include her children: Tina Garza (Gerardo), Enterprise, Amy Heath (Michael), Samson, Joseph Moody (Jennifer), Samson, Tabitha Pryor (James), Geneva; two step children; sixteen grandchildren; nine brothers; one sister; a very special friend, Bobby Scarbrough, Enterprise; several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

 

Serving as pallbearers will be Johnny Heath, Don Wilson, Junior Diaz, Aaron Diaz, Johnathan Nichol and Michael Heath.
