Mrs. Betty Jean Armstrong Roberts, age 81, of Clio, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019, in a Montgomery hospital.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 1, 2019, at New Hope Christian Church; with Rev. Cooper Stinson and Rev. Robert Parnell officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord Church Cemetery; with Keahey Funeral Home of Clio directing. The family will receive friends at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 1, 2019, at New Hope Christian Church (one hour prior to services).

Mrs. Roberts is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Ed) Kirkland of Colorado; one brother, Wayne (Gloria) Armstrong of Ozark; five grandchildren, Kelly (Myron) Marshall, Karrie Rose, Luke Stinson, Bethany (Logan) Rusnak, and Tylor Kirkland; and six great-grandchildren, Austin Daugherty, Trager Stinson, Ryder Stinson, Michael Daugherty, Bankston Rose, and Emily Rose. She was preceded in death by her husband (50 plus years) Holman Roberts; one daughter, Robin Stinson; her parents, Roy Lee Armstrong and Ruth Cox Armstrong; and by one brother, James Lynn Armstrong. 
Mrs. Roberts was a member of the New Hope Christian Church for many years, and she sang often. Mrs. Betty Jean Roberts and her late husband, Holman Roberts owned Roberts Hardware in Clio.
