Betty Marjorine Wise Davis, a longtime resident of Samson, AL, and a former resident of Hartford Retirement Village, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020. She was 86 years old.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Wes Davis officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Davis’s memory to Hartford Retirement Village, 12196 AL-52, Hartford, AL 36344.

Mrs. Davis was born in Samson, AL on May 6, 1934 to the late Will and Opal Parrish Wise. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Frank Davis; one daughter, Brenda D. Anderson; and one brother, Travis Wise.

She is survived by two daughters, Becky D. Alford (Larry) of Dothan, AL, and Cindy D. Kelley (Mark) of Ashford, AL; six grandchildren, Jennifer A. Cain (John), Christopher Aycock (Christie), Chase Alford, Pace A. Hayes (Drew), Sladen K. Sowell (Jansen), and Kaide K. Moman (Parker); 14 great-grandchildren, one sister-in-law, Euna Faye Wise of Samson, AL; and several nieces and nephews.
