Bettye J. Hancock of Enterprise, AL passed away, Sunday, July 22, 2012 in Enterprise after an extended illness.  She was 79.

          Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 24^th 11:00 A.M., at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Sonny Moore officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.   Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, 302 North Main Street, Enterprise, AL 36330.

          Mrs. Hancock was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie C. Hancock, daughter, Renee Bryant and son, Michael Hancock.

          Survivors include her daughter, Cathy H. Odom (Regie L.) Hartford, AL; grandchildren, Lee H. Grissett, Dothan, AL; Kelley Marsh; Sammy Bryant both of Enterprise; Patty Beardslee (Jay), Cornelius, NC; Chris Odom (Tina) Pensacola, FL; Bryan Odom (Ashley) Saraland, AL; great-grandchildren, Hannah Bryant; Taylor Brooks both of Enterprise; Nicholas Beardslee; Cole Beardslee, both of Cornelius, NC; Alexandria Odom; Morgan Odom , both of Pensacola, FL; Camryn Odom, Saraland, AL; sister, Lonie P. McInnis, Enterprise; brother, L J Adkins (Margaret) Malvern, AL; numerous loved nephews, nieces, many friends and loved ones.
