Her nurturing spirit led her to open an at-home daycare, where she provided care and guidance for 26 years until her retirement. A woman of faith, Beverly attended Daleville Assembly of God and later found spiritual solace at Goodwater Freewill Baptist Church. Her involvement in church activities and her unwavering belief were sources of strength and inspiration not only for herself but also for those around her.

Beverly's interests and talents were as diverse as they were delightful. She was an avid card player, with canasta and rummy being among her favorite games. Her sense of fun and camaraderie made her a sought-after partner and opponent. Her popcorn wreaths were a sight to behold and a delicious delight, passing down through her children to their children as a cherished memory of her.
