BILLIE BRITT ROBERTS
ABBEVILLE. . .Billie Britt Roberts, a resident of Abbeville, died Wednesday afternoon, September 5, 2012, in the emergency room of a Dothan hospital. He was 56.
Graveside services will be held at 5:00 P.M. (E.D.T.) or (4:00 P.M. Alabama Time), Saturday, September 8, 2012, in the New Park Cemetery, Ft. Gaines, Georgia, with Reverend Troy West officiating and eulogies to be given by Tim Ingram and Eddie McConnell. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. (C.D.T.) Friday at the mortuary in Abbeville.
Britt Roberts was a native of Murphysboro, Illinois and was reared in Immokalee, Florida. He formerly lived in Dothan before moving to Abbeville fifteen years ago. Britt was self-employed as the owner and operator of Britt’s Enterprises in Abbeville. He was preceded in death by his father, James Fuller and a sister, Susan Fuller.
Surviving relatives include a son, Joshua Britt Cole, Abbeville; his mother, Deloris McConnell Fuller, Abbeville; a sister, Teresa Nowling, Brooksville, FL
Serving as active pallbearers will be Tim Ingram, Keith Cauthen, Mickey Skeen, Al Obert, Chase McConnell and Travis McConnell.
