Billy D. Driggers of Elba, AL passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Medical Center Enterprise.  Visitation will be held at Elba Church of Christ on Sunday, January 14, 2024, from 1:00 until 2:00 PM.  Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 PM. with Min. Greg Hanchey and Rev. Harry Driggers officiating. A private burial will follow at Liberty Church of Christ Cemetery under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Bill was a follower of Jesus.

Survivors include his wife, Joann Holley Driggers; daughters, Denise Bryan and Sondra Driggers, both of Elba, Genevieve (Chris) Daniel, Richmond, VA, Shelia (Derrell) Thrower, Smiths Station, AL, and Cheryle (Steve) Ellenburg, Enterprise, AL; sons, Greg (Lisa) Hanchey, Elba, AL, and Cory (Alyssa) Driggers, Dothan, AL; brother, Harry Driggers, Brantley, AL, along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Frederick, his son, Billy M. Driggers, his parents, Johnnie and Exa Wambles Driggers, his brothers, Herman Driggers, Howard “Sam” Driggers, Lloyd Driggers, his sisters, Ovie Flournoy, Elva Marshall, Marie Tucker, and grandsons, Jonathan Richardson and Billy M. Driggers, II.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions be made to the Liberty Church of Christ Cemetery Fund, P. O. Box 404, Elba, AL 36323.
