Billy J. Galloway of Geneva, AL passed away at Wiregrass Medical Center on Saturday, July 16, 2022. He was 79 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, July 18, 2022 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

Mr. Galloway was born in Montgomery, AL on November 7, 1942 to the late Horace Washington and Isabel Kirkland Galloway. He enjoyed listening to Bluegrass music and attending Bluegrass festivals. Billy enjoyed joking and caring on with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Joe Bill Galloway, and one sister, Linda Mixon.

Billy is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Anna M. Galloway of Geneva, AL; two daughters, Kimberly Ann Beville (Paul) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, and Christie Lynn Galloway of Pensacola, FL; one grandson, Danny Abrahantes of Gainesville, FL; four sisters, Betty Peters (Phillip) of Geneva, AL, Libby German of Westville, FL, Cathy Barnes (Randy) of Geneva, AL, Janet Ellenburg (Jr.) of Westville, FL; one sister-in-law, Pat Galloway of Westville, FL, and many special nieces and nephews.
