Billy Ralph Cullifer, a resident of Dothan, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022 at Southeast Health. He was 91.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Troy West officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

Center, 2715 Flynn Road, Dothan, Alabama, 36303.

Mr. Cullifer was born August 29, 1931 in Dale County to Plemon John and Clora Smith Cullifer. He lived in Florida until the family returned to the Headland area when he was five. He was a 1950 graduate of Ashford High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Korean Conflict for two years. Mr. Cullifer worked in finance and sales for most of his life.

He is predeceased by his parents, his wife of 65 years, Sara N. (Sadie) Cullifer, three sisters, Mildred Brackin, Jeanette McClendon and Christine Dillard and two brothers, Johnny Cullifer and Walter Terry Cullifer.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Carol Vaughn and husband, Dr. Henry C. Vaughn III of Dothan, a grandson, Henry C. Vaughn IV of Asheville, NC; three brothers-in-law, Philip McCallister (Debra) of Dothan, Thom McCallister (Gwen), of Dothan, Bobby Jenkins of Panama City, FL; many nieces and nephews also survive.
