Billy Ross Mullins, a resident of Dothan, died Saturday August 11, 2012 at Flowers Hospital. He was 81.


 


Funeral services will be held at 2 P. M. Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from the chapel of Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Jack Faircloth officiating. Burial will follow in Selma Baptist Church Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home Directing.


The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 13, 2012 from 5 until 7 P. M. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to any hospice or church of your choice.


Mr. Mullins was a member of Cloverdale Baptist Church and established Mullins Fire Equipment Company in 1963 after his service as a city of Dothan firefighter.


 


He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross Lofton Mullins and Audrey Ketchum Mullins.


 


Survivors include his son, Mark Mullins and his wife Debbie of Dothan; One sister, Jean Smith of Valparaiso, FL;   Special cousins James Ketchum and Lofton and Delores Mullins and other special friends and loved ones, including, Kenneth Everett and Tim Reeves.


 


Active pallbearers will be Kenneth Everett, Mike Everett, Bryant Everett, Shane Atwell, Steve Findeisen and Tim Reeves.
