BOBBIE JO SAPP


HAWKINSVILLE, GA… Bobbie Jo Sapp, a resident of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away Sunday morning, February 20, 2022, at a Dothan hospital. She was 52.


            A memorial service will be held at a later date.


            Mrs. Sapp was born in Americus, Georgia to Henry Holt and Mary Jeanette Green. She attended Sumter County Comprehensive High School in Americus, Georgia. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and cousin.   Her favorite pastime was watching shows like CSI, Blue Blood, and Criminal Minds. She loved spending time and playing with her grandkids. Her love of dolphins will always be remembered.


            Preceding her in death is a grandson, Michael Hunter McFall; her grandmother, Inez Bailey Pate and grandfather, John Thomas Pate, Sr.; her sister-in-law, Debbie Ryder Ayres.


            Leaving to cherish her memories is her husband, James Sapp; her daughters, Heather Nicole Platt (Bubba Brown) and Kimberly Michelle McFall (Blake Howard) all of Hawkinsville, GA; her mother, Mary Jeanette Green; her siblings, Bobbie Lorine Pate of Americus, GA, and Tommy Ray Green (April) of Vienna, GA; her grandchildren, Aiden James Sapp, Tristan Alexander McFall, Melanie Rebecca McFall, Andrew Marshall Platt, Ryleigh Alizabeth Platt, and Blakely Joanne Howard; her father/mother-in-law, Johnny and Betty Edmonson of Americus, GA; her sister-in-law Irene Bradley (Bobby Joe) of Abbeville, AL; her Nieces, Courtney Lawson (Marshall) of Daleville, AL, Alani West, Autumn Bradley both of Abbeville, AL, Casey Larsen (Andrew) of Grimes, AL, Paige Baker (Ben) of Midland City, AL, and Jessica Royal (Jason) of Eufaula, AL, Ashley Michelle Laney and Tiffany Leeann Rayborn both of Americus, GA, Dakota Green, Katie Green & Olivia Green of Vienna, Ga. Nephews ; William Dan Rayborn of Athens, GA, Preston Green. Great-Nieces : Savanna Lawson, EzraLee Lawson, Montana Barfield, Rebecca Baker, Cherish Larsen; her great-nephews : Joshua Lawson, Jase Royal, Dax Baker, Tripp Baker,  Andr’e Larsen.
