Bobby "Bob" Jerry Crews, Jr., 34, of Midland City passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.


Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Greater St. Paul Baptist Church in Pinckard. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm Friday at the funeral home and from 10-11 am at the church on Saturday.


Bob was born May 18, 1977 in Houston County and he lived most of his life in Midland City. He attended Dale County High School and was employed with the Southeast Alabama Diversion Center for the past 6 years. Bob was an avid sports fan and enjoyed Bar-B-Qing for his family and friends. He was a mason and a member of Greater St. Paul Baptist Church.


Survivors include his wife Kashea Crews of Midland City; sons, Pierre Crews, Isiah Crews, and Gavvin Crews; a daughter De'Jhanae Mathis; father Bobby J. Crews, Sr. of Dothan; mother Mary Frances Crews of Ozark; sisters, Ursula Morris of Ozark, Margo Morris of Dothan, Rena (Shakur) Roberts of Midland City, and Wanda Crews of Midland City; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
