Bobby Gena King of Bonifay, FL passed away Friday, August 20,2021 at his home at the age of 76.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, August 26,2021 at the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home with the Covenant Hospice Chaplain, Brandon Thorn. officiating.  Burial will follow in the Whitewater Cemetery, Bonifay, FL, with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing.  Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home from 6:00 until 7:00 pm for friends and family.

Bobby was born October 12,1944 in Bonifay, FL to the late John and Vassie Justice King.  He was a man that loved his family, fishing, sitting on his front porch, helping everyone and could fix anything that needed fixing.

Preceded in death by his parents, wife: Linda Fay King, Brothers: Danny Paul King and Ronnie King; Sisters: Shirley King and Evangeline Elrod; Granddaughter: Kristin King and Brother-in-laws: Charles Howell and Johnny Hanes.

He is survived by his daughter: Rachel Nassar (Thomas) of Grand Prairie, TX; Son: Bobby L. King (Marilyn) of Bonifay, FL; Granddaughters; Katie King (Adam Majors), Bonifay, FL; Grace Nassar, Commerce, TX; Great-Granddaughter: Addie Register, Bonifay, FL and Great-Grandson: Colt Edward Majors, Bonifay, FL; one brother: Jim King, Bonifay, FL and three sisters: Sybil Jenkins, Roanoke, AL, Rena Grantham, Chancellor AL and Evie Hanes, Bonifay, FL. He also had a multitude of nieces and nephews, every one of them special in their own way. They were not his, but he loved them as his own.

Serving as pallbearers: Shawn Harris, Richard Yates, Charlie Howell, Brandon “Moose” Elrod, Ethan Young, and Brent Young.

Honorary pallbearers: Kenny West, and Frazior Anderson.
