Bobby Gene Kirkland, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 after an extended illness. He was 67 years old.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, March 9, 2022 in Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. Charles Goldsmith officiating.
Bobby was born in Midland City, AL on June 8, 1954 to the late Early and Rosie Bell Kirkland. Bobby worked as an Aircraft Painter for many years in Alabama, Florida and North Carolina. He enjoyed fishing any chance he could and cheering on the Crimson Tide.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Early “Pete” Kirkland, Hilda Ward, Voncile Kirkland and Catherine Richards.
Survivors include his son, Ronald Eugene Kirkland; grandchildren, RJ, Kaitlin and Kelly Kirkland; sister, Earline Gilmore and brothers, Jimmy Kirkland and Jerry Hartzog.
