Bobby Joe Bradley of Daleville, AL passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Medical Center Enterprise.  He was 86.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 2, 2023 at the Daleville Chapel of Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Tommy Green and Rev. Scott Cox officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00AM until service time.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bay Springs Church, St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the American Heart Association.

Mr. Bradley was a longtime resident of 47 years of Daleville, AL.  He was a devoted Husband, Dad, Grampy and good friend.  He had a fulfilling career in the US Army and Civil Service totaling 40 years.  He was an avid RV’er and NASCAR enthusiast.  He was a giver and loved to give to everyone, including the lady at the dry cleaners and entrusted employees at the water dept., he never met a stranger.  He enjoyed being a jokester and passed along his joy and wittiness to his family.

Mr. Bradley was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Painter (Richard); father, Hershel Bradley; daughter, Diana Lynn Van Briggle; stepfather, James Mather; and brother, Ralph Bradley.

Survivors include the love of his life for 66 years, Lola Bradley, Daleville, AL; 2 daughters, Annmarie Bradley, Daleville, AL, Bobbie Proskine (Ben), Frisco, TX; 2 grandchildren, Courtney Birnberg and Trey Proskine; nephew, Rick Mendenhall (Lisa); niece, Debbie Mendenhall.
