Bobby Joe Henderson of Samson, AL passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021. He was 60 years old.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home on Geneva with Rev. Larry Mock officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made in Mr. Henderson’s memory to Chancellor Assembly of God, P.O. Box 87, Chancellor, AL 36316.

Mr. Henderson was born in Coffee County, AL on December 18, 1960 to the late James Franklin and Inez McClendon Henderson. He was a gifted mechanic and a very hard worker.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.

He is survived by two sons, Jody Pridgen and wife Megan of Samson, AL, and Donnie Pynes of Athens, AL; one daughter, Dana Nichols and husband Ed of Rehobeth, AL; three grandchildren, Logan Pridgen of Samson, AL, Allyson and Grayson Nichols both of Rehobeth, AL; sister, Stella Sessions of Samson, AL and a number of special nieces and nephews.
