Bobby Ray Mock of Samson, AL passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at his home. He was 77 years old.

In consideration of community health and the State of Alabama public health orders that are in effect due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), a private graveside service will be held for immediate family only on Friday, May 8, 2020 at Marvin Chapel Assembly of God Church Cemetery.

Bobby was born on June 15, 1942 in Coffee County, AL. Bobby was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, and grandfather. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Bobby’s top priority in life was his ministry. He took great pride in being a father figure to many. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, fishing, going to yard sales, and his animals. He was a member of Trinity Church of God in Samson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Holland Whalen Mock; and a special brother-in-law, Morris Cash.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Margaret Louise “Lue” Mock of Samson; five children, Delana R. Wiggins (Johnny) of Kinston, Stacey Mock (Becky) of Samson, Deanna Landingham (Jerald) of Samson, Michael Mock (Tessa) of Lake City, FL, and Jaxson Stamp of Samson; mother, Myrtle Louise Sims Mock of Webster, FL; 20 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Cash of Liberty, SC, and Jane Brogan of Webster, FL; and many special nieces and nephews.
