Bonnie Jean Simmons, loving wife of 52 years, mother, and grandmother went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at Medical Center Enterprise.

Memorials may be made to SOS Animal Shelter, 25944 Hwy. 84, Enterprise, AL 36330.

Bonnie was preceded in death by two sons, Richard Simmons and Brian Simmons, her father, Richard Thayer McCrady and a brother, Richard McCrady.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Wayne Simmons, Enterprise, AL; daughters, Susan Simmons, Fairfax, VA; Lori Standifer, Enterprise, AL;  son, Stephen Simmons and his wife, Mary, Martins Burg, WV; mother, Dorothy Jean McCrady, Enterprise, AL; brothers, Terrance McCrady, Winchester, VA; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ronald and Darcie Simmons, Columbiana, AL; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Dianne and Donald Patterson, Enterprise, AL; Joyce and James Park, Andalusia, AL; Helen Ivey, Enterprise, AL.

Bonnie’s family would like to extend a special thank you to a lifelong friend, Francis Hite, Fairfax, VA.
