Mr. Boyd Lee Kliewer of Geneva, AL passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019. He was 88 years old.

 Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Westside United Methodist Church in Geneva with Rev. Chip Oakley officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday beginning at 2:00 p.m. The family request in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Westside United Methodist Church, 1010 W. Maple Ave, Geneva, AL 36340.

 Mr. Kliewer was born on Jan 17,1931 in Fairview, OK to the late Harry and Rowena Fouty Kliewer.  He was a loving and devoted husband, father and brother. Mr. Kliewer loved the Lord and enjoyed reading and studying his Bible daily. He was a faithful member of Westside United Methodist Church, as well as, an active member of the Geneva Lions Club for 10 years. He enjoyed starting his day with the guys at Café Med over breakfast, coffee and great conversation. He proudly served his country in the US Marines and retired from Ft. Rucker after 40 years of service.

 He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Donna Barrett.

 He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Betty Brunson Kliewer of Geneva, AL, one son, Stephen Boyd Kliewer of Abbeville, AL; one brother, Gerald Kliewer of Norman, OK, two sisters, Dena Holmes of Shawnee, OK and Linda Cleaver (Will) of Columbus, OH, a number of special nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
