Brandon Tyler Longmore of Panama City Beach, FL passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020. He was 21 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2020 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home, 2744 West Magnolia Ave., Geneva, AL 36340 with Rev. Dee Koza, Rev. Damon Wilson and Rev. Scott Crooms officiating.

Flowers will be accepted at the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home or memorial contributions may be made in memory of Brandon to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Brandon was born in Montrose, CO on February 15, 1999. Brandon proudly served his country in the United States Army with the 1-509^th, 101^st Airborne Division. He attended Geneva High School and earned his diploma through the YES Program. After high school, he attended Chipola Community College. At the time of his death, he was working as a correctional officer with the Bay County Correctional Facility. Brandon enjoyed working with special needs children, caring for animals, horseback riding and going to hockey games. He traveled the world at his leisure.  

Brandon is preceded in death by his aunt, April Joy Coggins; great-grandparents, William J. Waters, Richard E. Coggins, Sr. and Mary C. Chelotti.

He is survived by his mother, Amy D. Thomas (Dan) of Black; father, Darren William Longmore of Montrose, CO; sister, Victoria “Tori” Clark; brother, Tucker Thomas; maternal grandparents, Cheryl and Richard Coggins of Summerton, SC; paternal grandparents, Sandy and Butch Longmore of Montrose, CO; maternal great-grandmother, Audrey Waters of Sutton, MA; grandparents, Denise Thomas (John Barnikel) of Geneva; and uncle, Jason Coggins (Ashley) of Gorham, NH.
