SKIPPERVILLE…Brandy Christa Phillips, a resident of Skipperville, died Saturday evening, June 17, 2023, in a Dothan hospital. She was 49.


            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 22, 2023, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brian Presley officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.


            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by giving a floral arrangement to the church of the donor’s choice.


            Brandy was born June 19, 1973, in Ft. Benning, Georgia and formerly lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Ft. Rucker, Alabama before moving to Ozark. She was a 1992 Graduate of Carroll High School and attended Wallace Community College in Midland City. Brandy was a Licensed Practical Nurse and received an accounting degree. She was formerly employed with Easterling Correctional Facility in Clio, Oakview Manor Nursing Home, and was a private sitter. Brandy was preceded in death by her father, Franklin Phillips, stepfather, Philip Joseph Duncan, grandparents, Bobby Lee and Jeanette Tilley, aunt, Cindy Lee Tilley, and step grandfather, Robert Duncan.


            Surviving relatives include her two sons, Cody Alan Enfinger, and Caleab Andrew Bracewell; two daughters, Kaylee Elizabeth Bracewell and Kayden Elise Blevins,  all of Ozark; mother, Stephanie DeLoach Duncan, Skipperville; step-grandmother, Jennifer Marie Duncan, Turner, Maine; two grandchildren, Bae Elizabeth Enfinger and Braylen James Bracewell; cousins, aunts, and uncles.
