Brenda June Richardson

Brenda June Richardson, a resident of Midland City, Alabama passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021. She was 68 years old.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 5:00 pm in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John McNeal officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home for 1 hour prior to the service.

Brenda was born on April 23, 1952 in Mobile, Alabama and lived there the early years of her life. She loved Florida and going to the beach, baking, sewing, knitting, and family games. Brenda enjoyed being involved in her girls’ lives visiting and following their hobbies, Scouts when they were younger, and playing with grandchildren. The grandchildren were Brenda’s motivation to stay young and healthy, even throughout her illness.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Nancy McNeal Bentz and by her husband, Noel Richardson.

Survivors include her daughters, Julia Anne (Justin) Murray and Jessica Autumn (Taryn) Black; her grandchildren, Taylor, Alec, Raegan, Terry, Marissa, Zoey, Gabriella, and Joel,; her brothers, David (Cathy) McNeal and John “Wayne” (Sue) McNeal; her sisters, Nancy (Dennis) Roach and Linda (Bill) Reed; and several nieces and nephews.
