Brenda Lynn (O’Ferrall) Anderson

Brenda Anderson age 65 of Wicksburg, Alabama and formerly of Linkwood, MD, died Thursday night May 3, 2018 at her residence under the care of Covenant Hospice after an extended illness.

Family First Funeral Care in Dothan, Alabama will be orchestrating a simple cremation as was her wish.

Brenda was the daughter of the late Samuel T. Murphy and Anna Mae Hoover Murphy. She was a former resident of Linkwood, MD, prior to moving to Wicksburg, Al.  She worked as a cashier in retail sales, was an Army veteran and worshiped as a protestant.  Other than her parents Brenda was preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her sons William O’Ferrall and her second husband Arne Anderson.

Survivors include two sons Michael James (Denise) O’Ferrall of Cambridge, MD., Kevin Bryan O’Ferrall and his partner Nicole Sapp who also served as Brenda’s caregiver both of Wicksburg, two sisters Linda Alejandro of Federalsburg, MD and Michelle Murphy of Sailsbury, MD, two grandchildren Dylan O’Ferrall and Amanda O’Ferrall, one great grandchild Piper Cansfield, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Covenant Hospice for providing wonderful care and support to Brenda and her family.
